A question in the margin. A passage worth keeping. A thought you want to return to.

The idea behind Menar
You spend days with a book. Weeks with a research project. Along the way, you ask questions, translate difficult passages, and follow ideas into other texts.
Menar keeps that work close to what you are reading, so you can find the source behind an answer and pick up a conversation later.
Ask about the text in front of you. Your document, page, and selection give the conversation its starting point.
Keep answers with their source passages. Return to the original text and make up your own mind.
Reopen saved conversations. Continue document tasks from their recorded progress. Leave room for the next question.
Your reading, your library
Original documents, saved answers, and task records live locally. When you use an AI feature, relevant excerpts are sent to the connected model service.
Menar supports PDF, DOCX, DOC, and TXT, with OCR review and multilingual reading workflows.
Built, tested, still growing
The Windows application is in early testing. An Android prototype is also being tested.
Next comes deeper work across long documents: connecting arguments, keeping track of open questions, and making multilingual assistance more dependable.
macOS and iOS are planned. Menar is not yet a public app-store release.
A note from the founder
I want Menar to become the reading companion people miss when it isn’t there.
